Electronic musician, and Phoenix, Arizona native Jon Asher has capitalized during this “Independent musician revolution.” From across the United States, Germany, United Kingdom, parts of Asia and Mexico, Jon’s new age approach appeals to vast audiences young and old, both male and female alike. His vibrant sound has been compared to the likes of Depeche Mode, Justin Timberlake, Gavin Rossdale, and The Dirty Vegas. Combining his distinctive electronic ancestry with the familiarity of modern pop music, Jon Asher has fashioned a groundbreaking genre of music just in time to provide a monotonous industry a taste of something unique.

Currently, while recording his self-written, self-composed, and self-produced full-length album, “With Love, Through Sound” (working title), Jon still finds time to effectively maintain his “self-proclaimed” empire. He has appeared in several on-screen productions such as the WB/CW television show “Hidden Palms” and recently wrapped the production of Universal Pictures’ new film “Kids in America” set to release in 2008. When he has a moment to breathe, he enjoys advertising his free-lance photography business to actors, actress’, musicians, and models.

Jon has never been one to fall short from his dream. Hailing from a musical background, he began to explore his expansive love for music at the age of 4. While other children explored karate and gymnastics, Jon was studying piano with a family friend, which continued on for the next several years. Around the age of eleven, Jon had his first poem “I Care” published in a national poetry boo. It was then when he discovered his emotions were best expressed through creative writing. By age thirteen, he was already studying countless “Music Business” books and sending numerous letters and e-mails that expressed his vision of a future career as an entertainer to the A&R departments of many major record labels, even though he didn’t have a demo to end. At seventeen, an impatient Jon Asher had decided to establish himself in what is now known as the “independent musician revolution” where artist produce, build and market their own sound and image. Now at the young age of twenty, Jon has successfully placed two of his songs (“Broken Remix” and “The Noise Inside My Head”) into rotation throughout Arizona’s radio station (Kiss FM) and parts of the United Kingdom. He has appeared as a guest on Kiss FM’s morning show John-Jay and Rich where he premiered his first single “Broken Remix” live on air.

As a pioneer in the “independent music revolution” Jon plans ultimately to take his self-produced album “With Love, Through Sound” to the top of the charts, and accomplish yet a whole new set of goals and dreams, at a much superior level. While the search for mainstream representation is underway, Jon vows to sustain a vigorous relationship with his fans through his words and music. With the love and support of his family, friends, fans, and followers, Jon Asher truly can accomplish anything he puts his heart and mind to. Now, eager than ever, Jon Asher continues his journey to fulfill and enrich the lives, ears, and hearts of others with love, through sound.
